Compliance
We act in compliance with the BME (German Association of Procurement and Logistics AMMPL or "BME" in German) Code of Conduct.
Its principles regarding
- corruption
- anti-trust legislation
- forced labour
- child labour
as well as its principles regarding social responsibility for
- human rights
- discrimination
- health care
- fair labour conditions
- environmental protection
have been incorporated in our organisation. By observing and promoting these principles, we take on responsibility owed to our own organisation, to customers and suppliers, to the environment and the society. We request our suppliers to intensively support these principles and to observe them as we do. Acknowledging these principles is a major criterion for us for a supplier to be included in our supplier pool.
Conflict Minerals
We go against the illegal mining and smuggling of ores by rebels to finance their insurgent activities and the associated violations of human rights, as was the case in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
We are open to the communication about possible conflict minerals upon request of our customers and we require our suppliers to provide us with the relevant information.
